It’s been a little over one month since the Pacific Northwest Round Up! My darling husband and I are still reminiscing
about the wonderful, once-in-a-lifetime (for us) get together of the most
wonderful peeps on earth at our home in Oregon . I can't help but tear up as I write this because in writing about our time together the memories come flooding back to me. I truly do mean this in every way! We
had a blast! OrangeZest and I are so grateful for those who were able to came. We enjoyed every single
minute of your visit here with us! And, now...
I'd like to share with the rest of you what we did on those glorious 3 days in July, 2014!!!

It will be so hard to try to convey every nuance of each day
of the Round Up, because as they say, you just had to be there! I will however, hopefully be able to highlight some of the outstanding and memorable moments of the event that will undoubtedly bring back memories to
those who attended and convey to those who couldn't the memories we made that will last a lifetime!
Because a “Picture Is Worth A Thousand Words,” I’ll post as
many as I possibly can. We hope you’ll enjoy looking at them. We had the best time in the making of them.
Since I don't want this to be the longest blog in AR history, I'll just post day one, Friday, of the Round Up today. Beginning with our get together dinner on Thursday evening.

Friday Morning July 18th:
Getting ready for the Bus Ride to Nye Beach at the Oregon Coast.
It was so interesting that somehow, putting grown adults on a
school bus magically turned us all back into 7th graders.
The ride over was hilarious! We even broke out in song along the way.
Like I said above, "You had to be there!"

The Alpenhorn News, Cathy Myers along with Mo's Restaurant Manager.
While at lunch Cathy presented my DH & myself with the article she wrote about her
upcoming trip to Oregon and featured a recipe of coastline cuisine,
Clam Slumgullion Chowder and Cheddar Bay Bisquits!
What an honor that was!!!
